Role Overview:
You will be responsible for managing inventory and stores, including designing SOPs and guidelines for inventory management. Your role will involve tracking the availability of materials/products, managing inventory levels, maintaining accurate records in SAP, resolving discrepancies in inventory, evaluating shelf life, and assisting in the liquidation and disposal of non-moving inventory and surplus inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing standard systems/templates/processes for inventory management
- Track availability of materials/products and manage inventory levels
- Execute process for material issue and update inventory level in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records in SAP and forward invoices to Head accounts
- Resolve discrepancies in inventory based on electronic records
- Evaluate shelf life of inventory and classify based on criticality and ageing
- Identify and liquidate non-moving inventory
- Execute asset liquidation and scrapping as per directives
- Assist in risk identification and prioritization for stores, inventory control, and liquidation
