Job Description
The F&B Captain will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the restaurant's service team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage service, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the service staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Welcome and seat guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and provide recommendations to guests when needed.
- Ensure all orders are relayed promptly and correctly to the kitchen and bar.
- Monitor the dining area to ensure timely service and address any issues that may arise.
- Assist with training and mentoring new staff members, ensuring adherence to service standards.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner.
- Work closely with the kitchen and management team to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to in the dining area.
