8 days on, 6 days off, 10-hour shifts per day

Applicants must be local to Fort McMurray, AB

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and book all travel arrangements for employees, including flights, hotels, and car rentals, ensuring compliance with company travel policy guidelines and budget.
• Maintain accurate records of travel details, including itineraries, hotel reservations, taxis and car rental confirmations.
• Schedule and coordinate employee safety training sessions, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage and schedule pre-access drug and alcohol screenings for employees according to client requirements, ensuring timely completion and accurate recordkeeping.
• May schedule and coordinate site orientations for new employees, ensuring awareness of site-specific safety protocols and procedures.
• Book camp accommodations.
• Assist with general administrative tasks, such as filing documents, answering phones, and responding to emails.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logistical operations and productive communication.
• Set up direct billing accounts with hotels.
• Other work-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in travel or logistics coordination and/or administrative experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and internet applications is a must.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and partners.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, identify problems and provide potential solutions.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changes in business processes, goals and priorities.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
• Discretion when dealing with confidential and highly sensitive information.
