Automatic Door Technician

Action Integrated Security Solutions is a leading security system integrator specializing in the design, supply, installation and service to the commercial markets across BC.

We are seeking to fill the Automatic Opener Technician position in our growing Vancouver office.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the primary function of this role is to install, commission automatic openers. The technician will mentor junior technicians to perform their duties and to achieve team goals.

The successful candidate will have minimum 3-5 years direct experience in door automation installation and programming. He/she will have solid computer knowledge including networking, experience working with enterprise systems, and the ability to learn new systems and trouble-shoot with little direction. He/she should have good communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in English to communicate professionally with clients and co-workers.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and effective time management and organization skills are important. Valid driver license and occasional travel will be required.
