This senior leadership role is accountable for the centralization, normalization, and strategic governance of Acquia’s enterprise data assets—encompassing both platform telemetry and business-critical data. You will move the organization beyond traditional reporting to a unified, AI-ready data ecosystem that powers market-facing AI capabilities and drives operational intelligence.</p> <h3><strong>Strategic Accountabilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Enterprise Data Strategy</strong>: Be accountable for the strategic roadmap and long-range execution of the Core Data Layer (CDL), unifying product and business data sources into a decentralized intelligence architecture.</li> <li><strong>Normalization of Data Silos</strong>: Manage the centralization of fragmented data assets into a semantic intelligence layer, ensuring data is accessible for cross-product reasoning and executive decision-making.</li> <li><strong>Strategic GTM Alignment</strong>: Partner with GTM leadership to deliver actionable insights that improve account management performance and transform platform usage into monetizable, value-based outcomes.</li> <li><strong>AI-Native Product Leadership</strong>: Drive the transition toward an AI-native PDLC, ensuring the product team is comfortable operating in a high-velocity, automated development environment.</li> <li><strong>Platform Observability &amp; Intelligence</strong>: Lead the strategy for enterprise-wide observability to reduce Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR) while establishing clear KPIs for data quality and decision impact.</li> <li><strong>Enterprise Governance &amp; Risk Management</strong>: Enforce "Safe-by-Design" protocols, including automated PII redaction and robust access controls to ensure data integrity and compliance.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Professional &amp; Technical Requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Scale and Scope</strong>: Proven track record of managing complex data environments, including Big Data, Data Warehousing, and real-time stream management.</li> <li><strong>Technical Fluency</strong>: Strong working knowledge of vector databases (pgVector), semantic data structures, and AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain) sufficient to guide technical teams and validate architectural decisions.</li> <li><strong>SaaS &amp; Platform Leadership</strong>: Significant experience (5-10 years) leading high-performance product teams, with a specific focus on SaaS analytics, observability infrastructure, or usage-based platforms.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>DXP/PaaS Background</strong>: Significant experience in PaaS, enterprise software, or Digital Experience Platform (DXP) environments.</li> <li><strong>AI-Native Mindset</strong>: Ability to drive outcomes in a transformed product landscape where AI is a core capability, not just a feature.</li> <li><strong>Business Acumen</strong>: Strategic maturity that is demonstrated by an ability to manage long-range planning and enterprise-level impact as well as conduct regular business reviews with a focus on P&amp;L impact, product adoption, and financial performance (Revenue, COGS, Margin).</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What Success Looks Like</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Data as a Strategic Asset</strong>: AI initiatives are accelerated across the company because a high-fidelity, unified data layer is already operational.</li> <li><strong>Value-Based Outcomes</strong>: Customer and business data are successfully converted into monetizable insights that drive account growth and performance.</li> </ul> <p><strong>AI-Native Operational Excellence</strong>: The Data Product Team consistently delivers high-quality value by leveraging a modern, AI-integrated product lifecycle</p> <p>We are an organization that embraces innovation and the potential of AI to enhance our processes and improve our work.
