Role Description

This is an on-site, contract role based in Pickering, ON, for a Quality Control Inspector in the afternoon shift.

The Quality Control

Inspector will perform daily inspections of materials, products, and production processes to ensure they meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include adhering to and implementing quality assurance protocols, documenting inspection results, communicating findings, and collaborating with production teams to address quality issues. The role also involves contributing to the continuous improvement of quality management practices within the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes and ability to read drawings
• Proficiency in Inspection and understanding of quality standards and procedures
• Knowledge of Quality Management practices and improvement methodologies
• Strong Communication skills to report findings and collaborate with teams effectively
• Detail-oriented and analytical mindset with an ability to identify and resolve quality issues
• Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial standards is a plus
• Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience is preferred
