Application Analyst – Deposit Products
Location: Gettysburg, PA (hybrid, within driving distance)
Bridge technology and banking—turn systems into solutions.
At ACNB Bank, our technology keeps everyday banking running—from opening a new checking account to processing CDs. As an Application Analyst, you’ll ensure the systems behind our deposit products operate smoothly, integrate effectively, and evolve to meet new needs. You’ll act as the bridge between business units and software providers—resolving issues, driving enhancements, and supporting projects that strengthen our deposit platforms and overall operations.
While this role provides exposure to all aspects of the Application Services department, your primary focus will be deposit systems and applications that directly support customer accounts.
What You Bring to the Table
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
- Education/Experience – An associate or bachelor’s degree in computer or information systems (or related field) preferred, plus at least 1 year of related experience.
- Deposit knowledge – Familiarity with deposit systems, account opening, and transaction processing strongly preferred.
- Technical expertise – Knowledge of configuring, modifying, and testing system applications in multiple environments; experience with Microsoft Office Suite and system administration.
- Problem-solving ability – Strong analytical skills to identify issues, research solutions, and implement fixes.
- Collaboration skills – Ability to work independently and within teams, supporting colleagues across departments.
- Compliance awareness – Understanding (or willingness to learn) deposit regulations and how they affect system functionality.
What You’ll Do to Succeed
In this role, you’ll make an impact by:
- Owning deposit applications – Support and maintain systems for checking, savings, and CD products, ensuring functionality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Managing issues – Troubleshoot, document, and resolve deposit-related technology problems while coordinating with vendors and IT partners.
- Problem-solving – Research, analyze, and resolve software issues while keeping staff and management informed.
- Driving improvements – Implement upgrades, new products, and regulatory changes that keep systems efficient and up-to-date.
- Training and empowering users – Provide one-on-one or group training sessions, documentation, and ongoing support for application users.
- Testing and validating – Execute test plans for new releases and enhancements to ensure smooth rollouts.
- Expanding knowledge – Learn the full suite of banking applications (loans, treasury management, fraud/BSA, GL, reporting) while becoming the go-to resource for deposit technology.
Why You’ll Love this Role
- Be the deposit systems expert – Specialize in the applications that directly support customer accounts.
- See your impact daily – The systems you support make it possible for customers to open, manage, and use their accounts.
- Grow across all areas – While deposit is your core focus, you’ll gain exposure to every aspect of the department’s applications.
- Blend tech and business – Work at the intersection of IT, compliance, and banking operations.
- Join a supportive culture – Be part of a trusted community bank that values both its employees and customers.
