Paralegal/Case Manager

Ackerman & Falcon is a client-focused law firm specializing in Workers' Compensation in Virginia & DC.

Our Firm is looking to add an experienced Case Manager/Paralegal to our team this spring.

Required:

• Experienced with Office 365; strong Outlook and MS Word skills
• Good communication skills in person and by phone
• Attention to detail
• The ideal candidate will be personable, punctual, and ready to learn

Preferred

• Experience with Needles/Neos or other case management software
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Notary Public
• Experience in a workers compensation or personal injury law office
• Experience using VWC Webfile

Case Manager/Paralegal Responsibilities:

• Communicating effectively with clients, attorneys, medical providers, and insurance companies
• Sending requests for medical records and bills
• Preparing case files for litigation and settlement
• Answering phones and transferring calls
• Greeting clients and guests
• Filing, scanning, copying as needed
