Job title: Network engineer
Location: Pan India
Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
Configure and manage routers, switches, and network devices.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Implement and maintain routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
Configure and manage VLANs, STP, trunking, and switching technologies.
Perform network upgrades, patches, and firmware updates.
Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, access controls, and network policies.
Analyze network traffic and optimize performance.
Maintain network documentation including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Work with cross-functional IT teams to support system integrations and deployments.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies.
Experience configuring Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment.
Knowledge of VLANs, NAT, VPNs, and network security concepts.
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Understanding of LAN, WAN, and wireless networking.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
Experience with network automation or scripting (Python, Ansible) is a plus.
