Job Description
Job title: Network data center engineer(GCP or Azure)
Location: Pan India
Long term contract
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage data center and cloud network infrastructure in GCP and/or Azure environments.
Configure and manage:
Virtual Networks (VNet / VPC)
Subnets and routing tables
VPN Gateways and ExpressRoute / Cloud Interconnect
Load Balancers (Internal & External)
Firewalls and Network Security Groups (NSG)
Implement hybrid connectivity between on-prem data centers and cloud environments.
Manage routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) for hybrid cloud connectivity.
Ensure network security, segmentation, and compliance standards.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams.
Perform network capacity planning and optimization.
Document network architecture and operational procedures.
Support cloud migration and data center modernization initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
8+ years of experience in Data Center Networking.
Strong hands-on experience with:
GCP VPC, Cloud Router, Cloud NAT, Cloud Interconnect
OR Azure VNet, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, Application Gateway
Experience with:
Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP)
Firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA – preferred)
SD-WAN concepts
Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IPAM.
Experience with network monitoring tools.
Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery architectures.
