The RoleWe are seeking a technically-driven Business Central Specialist who bridges the gap between system architecture and accounting logic. This is not just a "dev" role; you must understand how data impacts the General Ledger and how multi-entity structures operate within a complex database environment.

Key Responsibilities

• System Architecture: Manage and optimize multi-entity environments, database structures, and global dimensions.
• Reporting & Analytics: Build and maintain sophisticated reports using Power BI and native BC reporting tools.
• Integrations: Oversee third-party software connections and execute seamless data imports/migrations.
• Accounting Oversight: Apply a strong understanding of accounting principles to ensure technical configurations support financial accuracy.
• Problem Solving: Conduct deep-dive research into system bugs, new extensions, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of active, hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven expertise in BC databases, dimensions, and Power BI.
• Accounting Fluency: Comfortable discussing multi-company consolidations and financial reporting requirements.
• Location: Must be based in the Metro New York area for regular on-site meetings.
• Verification: Practical, hands-on experience will be verified during the interview process.
