What would you do?
- 6-8 years of experience in Property & Casualty Underwriting or Policy Servicing across shared services/Third Party BPO service providers (Essential)
- Hands on experience of managing the one of the following tasks from the earlier experience from Insurance Underwriting Cycle – New Business Submission, Clearance and Inspection, Status Change, Policy Issuance, Premium Audit/Booking, Reconciliation, Policy Drafting, Mid-term Endorsement, Loss Run, Quote/Booking, Declarations, Cancellations, Reinstatements, Renewal Solicitation, Policy conversion, invoicing, Indexing, Doc management, DMS Filing.
- Good to have someone with experience in Re-Insurance Fac and Treaty business.
- Support regional UA Manager in overseeing all daily business activities and act as the first point of contact for all UAs in the region.
- Triages submission for missing information and follows up with the broker for outstanding items.
- Issues policies, endorsements, and cancellations; prepares policy writing instructions and premium billings and processes individual policy filings.
- Assists the underwriter in the preparation of business, and metric reports; assists in the review of procedures to resolve issues.
- Performs quality control of premium audit statements prior to underwriting review; documents discrepancies and work with the premium auditor for resolution.
- Completes loss rating and develops initial pricing, basic coverage structuring, quotation, and binder packages on behalf of the underwriter.

- Identify process risks & conduct regular forecast vs incoming vs completion analysis.
- Conduct performance review of the span, create plan of action for deficit if any and track for closure
- Daily staffing planning and management of KPI,KSM and CSM.
- Ensure weekly basis highs and lows are highlighted and zero surprise framework implemented.
- Develop relationships with client stakeholders- should highlight challenges due to process design and controllable challenges
- Ensure operational and people deliverables are met
- Handle the queries/issues/escalations
- Ensure stakeholders are managed
- Respond/resolve the issues as per agreed timelines
- Ensuring adhere to the escalation matrix and follow up procedures
