Job Description
As an Underwriting Associate Manager at Accenture, you will play a crucial role in the General Insurance team, managing Claims Adjudication, Claims Processing, and Portfolio Management. Your responsibilities will include checking fraudulent claims, rating and quoting, managing new business or renewal submissions, and overseeing daily business activities in the region. With 6-8 years of experience in Property & Casualty Underwriting or Policy Servicing, you will bring essential skills to the role, such as hands-on experience in managing various tasks within the Insurance Underwriting Cycle. These tasks may include New Business Submission, Policy Issuance, Premium Audit, Policy Drafting, Renewal Solicitation, and more.
To excel in this role, it would be beneficial to have experience in Re-Insurance Fac and Treaty business. You will support the regional UA Manager, triage submissions for missing information, issue policies, endorsements, and cancellations, and prepare policy writing instructions and premium billings. Your ability to analyze and solve moderately complex problems will be essential, as you create new solutions and adapt existing methods and procedures.

- Manage Claims Adjudication, Claims Processing, and Portfolio Management
- Check fraudulent claims, rate and quote, and oversee new business or renewal submissions
- Support regional UA Manager in daily business activities
- Triage submissions for missing information and follow up with brokers
- Issue policies, endorsements, and cancellations
- Prepare policy writing instructions and premium billings
Qualifications
- Any Graduation
- 10 to 14 years of experience in Property & Casualty Underwriting or Policy Servicing
In this role, you will interact primarily with your direct supervisor or team leads, with occasional interactions with peers and management levels at a client or within Accenture. You will be expected to work with minimal guidance, making decisions that impact your team and occasionally other teams. If in an individual contributor role, you may manage medium-small sized teams or work efforts. Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts.
