Job Title - Manager - Strategy, Economic Planning and Development
Level : 07 - Manager
Location: Bengaluru/Gurugram/Hyderabad/Mumbai/Kolkata
Must have skills:
- Robust experience in strategic planning and economic analysis within public sector, policy, or institutional contexts.
- Proven ability to design operating models and governance frameworks that align digital, data, and fiscal priorities with various public sub-sectors under consideration
- Expertise in scenario modeling, fiscal diagnostics, and evidence-based strategy formulation using data-driven insights.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience partnering with ministries, regulators, or development institutions. Good to have skills:
- Proficiency with data analytics and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, R, Python) to support strategic diagnostics and modeling.
- Familiarity with public policy design, funding mechanisms, and economic development programs.
- Knowledge of organizational design, change management, and digital transformation frameworks.
- AI use case design, prioritization and implementation
Job Summary: Partner with senior government leaders, economic institutions, and public agencies to define long term strategies that advance economic growth, digital governance, and institutional modernization. Lead strategic visioning, economic diagnostics, and digital enablement initiatives that strengthen governance, enhance public value, and drive sustainable reform. Integrate strategy, data, and technology to design operating models that promote innovation and fiscal resilience. Roles & Responsibilities: Strategic Planning & Vision Setting
- Conduct strategic and economic assessments to identify key reform priorities and long term growth pathways
- Apply scenario planning and fiscal modeling to guide policy and investment decisions
- Align institutional strategies with government missions, citizen outcomes, and fiscal sustainability
- Develop business cases, impact assessments, and reform frameworks that promote innovation and efficiency
- Advise clients on economic resilience, infrastructure modernization, and cross-sector growth strategies
- Develop comprehensive strategic roadmaps integrating digital, data, and economic transformation agendas Organizational Transformation & Transformation
- Design operating models and governance structures to enable effective delivery of policies and digital programs
- Lead initiatives on data strategy, AI adoption, and performance analytics to improve decision-making and public outcomes
- Formulate strategies to strengthen institutional agility, digital capability, and operational effectiveness Stakeholder Engagement & Thought Leadership
- Coordinate across ministries, agencies, and development partners to align strategies with cross-sector priorities
- Support strategy reviews, policy evaluations, and transformation steering committees
- Contribute to strategic research, frameworks, and policy briefs on topics such as digital transformation, fiscal reform, and institutional design Professional & Technical Skills:
- Strong analytical capability in economic and policy modeling, data-driven strategy, and transformation design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for policy documentation, presentations, and stakeholder briefings
