Job Summary

ABSA Technology is seeking an experienced C# Developer for a contractor position based in Prague, available immediately. The successful candidate will work primarily on ETL-related development, building scalable solutions in C# and integrating with AWS services. You will also be responsible for automating infrastructure using Terraform.

Job Description

While experience with ETL is a plus, it is not a strict requirement — we’re looking for someone who is eager to work in this area and can grow into it with support from the team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative group working on innovative and scalable financial data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C# .NET 10 applications focused on data processing and transformation tasks.
• Contribute to ETL development — building and evolving pipelines that move and transform data across systems.
• Integrate applications with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and others.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies, particularly in cloud and data processing domains.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in C# development, with a strong understanding of OOP and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda).
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with .NET Core or ASP.NET MVC.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Have

• Experience building or maintaining ETL pipelines.
• Exposure to AI/ML tools or technologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
