Job Title: Consultant Dental Assistant

Job Type: Full-Time Consultant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Consultant Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of dental instruments, sterilization processes, and patient care. As a Consultant Dental Assistant, you will play a critical role in assisting with dental procedures, managing patient documentation, and ensuring the operatory is prepared and maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

● Dental Instruments Knowledge:

○ Proficient in identifying and handling various dental instruments.

○ Ensure all instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and arranged for use.

● Sterilization Process:

○ Adhere to strict sterilization protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.

○ Monitor and record the sterilization process and equipment maintenance.

● Patient Documentation & Care:

○ Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and updates.

○ Provide compassionate care and support to patients before, during, and after

procedures.

● Assist in Dental Procedures:

○ Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.

○ Ensure patients are comfortable and prepared for their treatment.

○ Hand instruments and materials to the dentist during procedures.

● Operatory Arrangement:

○ Prepare the operatory before each patient visit by setting up the necessary instruments and materials.

○ Ensure the operatory is clean and organized at all times.

○ Manage dental supplies and inventory to ensure availability for procedures.

Qualifications

● Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role.

● Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and dental procedures.

● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

● Excellent communication and patient care skills.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

● Proficiency in dental software and patient management systems is a plus.
