After-School Care Counselors

(Post Secondary Students or Responsible Adults)

Hourly wage: $23.00 to $25.00

Over the past 19 years, Aberdeen Hall has become a top-level independent school that provides excellent academics and a strong character education to our diverse student population of 700 preschool to grade 12 children.

We have opportunities for After-School counselors for a 2-month commitment starting in May 2026 through to June 18, 2026.With the possibility of continuing the position in September 2026.

Program Details

Each after-school care counselor will be responsible for providing childcare for a group of 5-10 students. You will work in a team environment, supervise students, organize indoor and outdoor play activities, maintain a safe and positive environment for students, and communicate with parents.

  • Monday to Friday, 3:00 to 5:15 pm
  • The after-school program follows the school calendar and will be closed during school breaks (Thanksgiving, Christmas break, Spring break, Easter weekend)

Success Factors

  • Experience working with children in either a camp counselor role/ or as a current post-secondary student
