About the Role

The Commission-Only Commercial Lines Insurance Broker is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients. This independent, performance-driven role is ideal for motivated brokers with an established network and strong sales capabilities.

This is a full-time position based in Ontario and includes the benefit of a flexible work schedule.

We are actively hiring across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and welcome applications from motivated insurance professionals looking to grow their careers with Aaxel Insurance Brokers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new commercial insurance business.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Analyze client risks and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• Prepare quotations, applications, and policy documentation.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers to secure competitive coverage options.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and brokerage standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.

What You Will Bring to Aaxel

• Valid RIBO license in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years of commercial insurance experience required.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• An existing book of business is considered an asset.
