Job Description
Seeking a Lead React Native Developer to architect, build, and deliver mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications for healthcare patient- and clinician-facing platforms. This role combines deep React Native expertise with hands-on Azure cloud integration, performance optimization, and enterprise-grade security/readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of React Native applications with shared components across mobile and web (React/React Native Web).
- Architect and integrate features with secure backend services hosted on Azure (App Services, API Management, Azure AD/OIDC, Functions).
- Drive engineering standards: TypeScript best practices, reusable component design, testing strategy, CI/CD optimization.
- Oversee app releases, performance tuning, telemetry, and monitoring (Azure Monitor/App Insights).
- Collaborate with product, UX, security, and backend teams in a regulated healthcare environment.
- Mentor developers and guide architectural decisions for scalable, secure solutions.
Technical Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience; 3+ years as a lead or tech lead.
- Strong proficiency in React Native, React, TypeScript, and mobile app ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services (Azure App Services, Functions, API Management, Key Vault, AAD).
- Strong understanding of mobile build/release tools (Xcode, Android Studio, Fastlane/App Center).
- Experience with REST/GraphQL, secure API integration, and healthcare-grade privacy practices.
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with React Native Web or shared UI across Mobile + Web.
- Familiarity with healthcare data flows, compliance concepts, and accessibility (WCAG).
- Knowledge of native code (Swift/Objective-C, Kotlin/Java) for custom modules.
- Experience with automated testing: Jest, Detox, React Testing Library.
