About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps / Platform Engineer to help build and operate a secure, scalable IIoT platform across edge and cloud environments. This role is hands-on and focused on Kubernetes, automation, security, and reliability.

You will work on real-time data systems, infrastructure automation, and platform security while collaborating with development and data teams to deliver production-ready systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes (edge + cloud environments)
• Support secure IIoT platform design with a focus on scalability and reliability
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with basic security checks (SAST, container scanning, dependency checks)
• Assist in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) implementation (Terraform / Ansible or similar)
• Work with streaming systems like Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, or Apache Spark (setup, monitoring, basic security)
• Manage databases like ClickHouse and PostgreSQL (backups, performance tuning, access control)
• Implement monitoring and alerting using Grafana (metrics, logs, alerts)
• Support network security configurations (Kubernetes NetworkPolicies, API gateways, secure communication)
• Assist in implementing IAM, RBAC, and secrets management
• Help ensure secure communication (MQTT over TLS, certificate handling)
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability
• Collaborate with teams to improve deployment, monitoring, and security practices
• Use AI tools like ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot to improve productivity

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2–6 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud / Platform Engineering
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (basic to intermediate level)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Git-based workflows, automation)
• Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure and networking
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization
• Understanding of monitoring and logging concepts
• Exposure to scripting (Python / Shell / Node.js)
• Willingness to learn security best practices and real-time systems

Nice to Have

• Exposure to IIoT / SCADA / industrial systems
• Familiarity with Kafka or other streaming platforms
• Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools
• Basic understanding of security concepts (TLS, authentication, RBAC)
• Experience with MQTT or edge device communication
