Lead Generation Intern

Organization : Omysha Foundation - VONG & A4G

Location : Remote

Duration : 6 Months

Team : Marketing - Lead Generation

Role Purpose

The Lead Generation role focuses on moving target audiences from cold awareness to expressed interest through a structured, scalable funnel approach.

This role is responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing systems that identify, attract, and convert potential leads into interested prospects.

Core Responsibility Areas

1. Lead Funnel Design & Execution

  • Build and manage a structured lead generation funnel (Cold → Warm → Interested)
  • Identify target audience segments and define entry points
  • Design pathways to move leads across different funnel stages
  • Continuously refine the funnel based on performance

2. Audience & Psychology Understanding

  • Understand how target users think, behave, and make decisions
  • Identify triggers of interest and engagement
  • Align messaging and outreach strategies with audience motivations
  • Apply buyer psychology principles to improve conversions

3. Data Analysis & Problem Solving

Analyze campaign performance to understand :

What is working

What is not working

Why outcomes are happening

  • Take a neutral, data-driven approach (no assumptions)
  • Continuously optimize strategies based on insights

4. Structured Outreach System Building

Design systems for : Where to find leads

How to reach them

How to generate interest

  • Build repeatable and scalable processes
  • Ensure clarity and documentation of workflows

5. Working with Scale

  • Handle and manage large volumes of leads (hundreds to thousands)
  • Identify patterns across large datasets
  • Generalize insights for better decision-making
  • Maintain efficiency while scaling operations

6. Cross-functional Alignment with Branding

Provide clear direction to the branding team on :

  • Target audience insights
  • Messaging that attracts the right leads
  • Ensure branding efforts are aligned with lead generation goals
  • Collaborate to improve quality of inbound leads

Duration : 6 Months Internship Program

Stipend

  • Rs. 5,000 per month for the first 2 months
  • Rs 7,500 per month for months 3 and 4, subject to a performance rating of 3.5 / 5 and above
  • Rs. 10,000 per month for months 5 and 6, subject to a performance rating of 3.5 / 5 and above

The above stipend amounts are for a minimum of 30 hours per week of time investment and the Performance appraisal will be evaluated based on the organisation's values and role KRAs.

VONG (Voice Of the New Generation) movement aims to :

VONG aims to inspire the new generation to build a deeper understanding of global social issues and influence societal attitudes toward sustainability. Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, VONG equips young people with the knowledge and understanding of sustainability.

Interns who consistently embody Omysha's culture and values may be considered for the Fellowship Program after completing the 6-month internship. Successful Fellows may subsequently be offered a full-time role.
