About the Role

A Square Foundation is working to improve education quality in government high schools through the Myslef program currently implemented across 350 schools and scaling to 500 schools, reaching ~25,000 students.

The Senior Programs Lead will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of program execution, government partnerships, and CSR collaborations, ensuring strong on-ground delivery and measurable impact.

This is a high-ownership, mission-driven role for someone committed to improving public education systems at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Program Ownership & Execution

• Lead end-to-end implementation of the Myslef program across multiple geographies
• Ensure program quality, consistency, and alignment with defined outcomes
• Drive execution timelines, scale-up plans, and on-ground delivery

Government & CSR Partnerships

• Build and manage relationships with government officials at district and state levels
• Work closely with school leadership and education departments
• Engage with CSR partners for program alignment, reporting, and expansion

Impact, Reporting & Monitoring

• Define and track key program metrics and outcomes
• Ensure strong focus on evidence, learning, and continuous improvement
• Lead reporting and communication for CSR stakeholders and partners

Team & Field Coordination

• Work closely with implementation teams on the ground
• Provide direction, problem-solving, and operational support
• Ensure alignment across locations and teams

Scale & Strategy

• Contribute to scaling the program from 350 to 500+ schools
• Identify opportunities for expansion through government and CSR partnerships
• Support development of new initiatives like the “My Skill” program

Who This Role Is For

• 5–10+ years of experience in the social sector / CSR / NGOs
• Strong experience working with government systems and stakeholders
• Experience engaging with CSR partners, reporting, or managing funded programs
• Proven ability to manage large-scale programs or field operations
• Comfortable with ownership, ambiguity, and on-ground execution
• Willingness to travel extensively across India
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and execution skills
