Junior Trading Analyst(Fresher) (India)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate with strong Excel skills and an interest in financial markets. The role primarily involves managing trading software, maintaining trade positions, and supporting daily trading operations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical exposure to live trading environments and build a career in financial markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor trades using the trading software platform.
• Maintain accurate records of trade positions, P&L;, and daily trading logs in Excel.
• Update and reconcile trade data to ensure error-free execution and reporting.
• Assist the trader in tracking open positions, margins, and risk exposure.
• Prepare Excel reports for trade performance and market activity.
• Coordinate with the trader to ensure smooth execution and timely updates.
• Identify discrepancies in trade data and report them promptly.

Required Skills

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic data analysis).
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Basic understanding of stock market / trading concepts (preferred, not mandatory).
• Ability to learn and handle trading platforms/software efficiently.
• Valuable communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment.

Eligibility

• 0–2 years of experience / Freshers with strong Excel skills.
• Graduates (BA,B.Com, BBA, B.Sc, BCA, or equivalent).
• Candidates with internship or exposure to trading / finance / data handling will have an added advantage.
