MS Azure Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities and Duties:

Ability to drive the deployment of the customers’ workloads into Azure and provide guidance, cloud adoption model, service integrations, appropriate recommendations to overcome blockers, and technical roadmaps for Azure cloud implementations.

Management of both Private and Public Cloud Clusters.

Act as a subject-matter expert around Microsoft Azure and become a trusted advisor to multiple teams.

Contribute to architecture and configuration management boards to ensure solutions are aligned with architecture and business objectives.

Document all processes and procedures in assigned areas of responsibility.

Strong understanding of cloud computing and hands-on experience of migrating workloads to Azure (Azure Migrate or other tools)

Logical thinking, troubleshooting, presentation, and communication skills with a strong drive for results

Administering and operating medium/large enterprise infrastructure and services in public cloud environments, including configuring backup, monitoring, patching, and security of cloud resources

Requirements

The candidate must have exposure to the following requirements with an experience of 3+ years.

Compute (Virtual Machines and Service Fabric)

Networking (Virtual Network, ExpressRoute, Traffic Manager, Load Balancer, Azure DNS, VPN Gateway, Application Gateway)

Storage (ADLS, Blobs, Tables, Queues, Files, and Disks)

Database (SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Apache Casandra)

Integrations (Data Factory and Event Hub)

Identity & Access Management (Azure Active Directory, Azure Active Directory B2B, Azure Active Directory Domain Services, Multi-Factor Authentication)

Security (Key Vault and Security Centre)

Governance: implement governance for role-based access control (RBAC)

Scripting: Familiar with MS windows PowerShell and Linux Shell Scripting.

Automation and Orchestration: Familiar with Cloud automation and Microsoft Azure Resource Manager.

Qualifications

Degree – Graduates/Postgraduate in CSE/IT or related field
