You'll mentor development teams, promote best practices, and drive innovation across our application development lifecycle, primarily leveraging the power of Google Cloud Platform.</p> <h2>Responsibilities:</h2> <ul> <li>Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and architecture of robust, scalable, secure, and high-performance applications, defining technical standards, patterns, and best practices.</li> <li>Solution Design &amp; Strategy: Translate complex business requirements and user stories into detailed technical designs, architectural blueprints, and implementation strategies for application development projects.</li> <li>Technology Selection: Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and platforms, with a strong emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and cloud-native architectures.</li> <li>Technical Guidance &amp; Mentorship: Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, conducting code reviews, and ensuring adherence to architectural principles and coding standards.</li> <li>Performance &amp; Scalability: Design solutions that meet stringent performance, scalability, reliability, and security requirements, anticipating future growth and evolving needs.</li> <li>Integration Strategy: Define strategies for integrating diverse systems, including APIs, microservices, third-party platforms, and legacy applications.</li> <li>Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients, product managers, project managers, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.</li> <li>Roadmapping &amp; Innovation: Contribute to technical roadmaps, staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends (e.g., AI/ML integration, serverless, containerization) to drive innovation.</li> <li>Risk Management: Identify potential technical risks and challenges, proposing mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications:</h2> <ul> <li>10+ years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 3-5 years in an Application Architect or similar senior leadership role, focusing on complex enterprise applications.</li> <li>Experience on frontend react/angular application design and development with strong architecture exp.</li> <li>Deep, hands-on experience designing and deploying applications leveraging a broad range of preferred GCP any cloud exp counts AWS,Azure.</li> <li>Strong understanding and practical experience with modern architectural patterns (e.g., Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Serverless, N-tier applications).</li> <li>Expertise in one or more modern programming languages commonly used in enterprise application development mandatory Python good to have additionally (Java,Nodejs,C#).</li> <li>Proficient in designing data models and selecting appropriate database technologies (relational, NoSQL) based on application requirements.</li> <li>Extensive experience with RESTful API design principles, API Gateways (e.g., Apigee), and secure API development.</li> <li>Solid understanding and experience with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools..</li> <li>Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to define technical solutions for complex business problems.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to lead technical discussions, present architectural designs, and mentor development teams.</li> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</li> <li>Willingness to work flexible hours and rotational shifts as per business requirements.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, fostering strong relationships with application development teams.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>66degrees is an Equal Opportunity employer.
