Intern, Production Support Engineer

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Intern, Production Support Engineer role will make an impact: Key responsibilities for this role include: Assist Engineering and Maintenance teams with downtime data analysis and reporting activities. Evaluate downtime events to establish root cause and corrective action. Contribute to long term solutions through innovative design and procedures. Participate in troubleshooting activities for manufacturing lines. Monitor daily production performance and collaborate with key stakeholders to help maximize line efficiency. Create technical drawings for components and system upgrades using CAD software. The minimum qualifications for this role are: The successful candidate will have preferably completed a minimum of their freshman year and be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a Mechanical Engineering degree program (i.e., or a related field of study). A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred; however, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. Ability to learn and understand production equipment, technologies and processes. Must possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to translate raw data into a form that will represent and drive meaningful results. Demonstrated personal or academic experience working, shadowing, or participating in a technical setting. Must possess advanced computer skills including MS Office and CAD applications such as Solidworks and/or AutoCAD. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is: If Pursing Bachelors = $20 hour, If Pursing Masters = $25 hour, If Pursing Doctorate = $30 hour.
