The Opportunity The Account Manager supports supplier relationships and operational workflows across Canadian and international markets. This role combines account coordination and operational execution, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities
Supplier Onboarding
· Manage documentation requirements related to supplier onboarding
· Pre-vet suppliers and processors to ensure minimum regulatory standards
Account & Supplier Management
· Support and participate in weekly and bi-weekly supplier and account calls
· Track and communicate key updates, risks, and action items
· Maintain supplier dashboards and reporting tools
· Support vendor performance tracking and scoring
Forecasting & Planning
· Support forecasting with suppliers and the UK sales team
· Assist forecasting for UK distributors
· Coordinate export scheduling based on demand
· Support storage capacity planning
Export Coordination
· Coordinate export permit applications
· Support product documentation and administration
· Track export timelines and turnaround metrics
Supply Chain
· Issue purchase orders in the Inventory Management System
· Coordinate packaging artwork updates with the marketing team
Project Management
· Coordinate project timelines and deliverables
· Maintain Gantt charts and trackers
· Monitor progress and flag risks
General
· Perform other duties as required to support business operations
Skills & Experience
· 2–4 years of experience in account management, operations, or supply chain coordination
· Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with external partners
· Experience managing multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously
· Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
· Experience with data analysis and reporting (Excel, Smartsheet or similar tools)
· Comfortable working across cross-functional teams (sales, operations, quality)
· Ability to identify risks, track action items, and follow through to completion
· Experience in a regulated industry (pharma, cannabis, biotech) is an asset
