Welder/Fabricator - TIG Welding

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welding Technician with hands-on experience in aluminium fabrication, specifically in scaffolding structures. The candidate will be responsible for high-quality welding, ensuring structural integrity, precision, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG welding (GTAW) on aluminium components used in scaffolding systems
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans
• Prepare materials by cutting, cleaning, and fitting components before welding
• Ensure strong, clean, and defect-free welds meeting quality standards
• Inspect finished welds for accuracy, strength, and finish
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools
• Follow workshop safety protocols and use PPE at all times
• Assist in fabrication, assembly, and modification of scaffolding structures
• Coordinate with the production team to meet daily output targets
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on welded structures

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in TIG welding on aluminium (mandatory)
• Experience in scaffolding fabrication or structural aluminium work preferred
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Knowledge of welding standards, techniques, and safety practices
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment

Education & Experience:

• ITI / Diploma in Welding, Fabrication, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in aluminium TIG welding

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to work in shifts / overtime if required
• Basic knowledge of fabrication tools (grinders, cutters, measuring tools)
• Team player with a responsible and disciplined work attitude

Preferred (Optional):

• Certification in TIG Welding
• Experience in modular scaffolding systems or industrial fabrication

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
