Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Our large Industrial Client in Oshawa is looking to hire Several Artificial Intelligence Engineers. The company is updating their Enterprise technology infrastructure and are looking to incorporate AI technologies across their systems. These are 1 year contract roles - hybrid requiring 1 day/week on-site in Oshawa. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and integrate AI technologies across a very large enterprise.

Job Overview

• The Artificial Intelligence Developer is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining advanced artificial intelligence solutions that support enterprise business objectives.
• This role focuses on building production ready systems that use large language models, predictive models, and document intelligence techniques to enable capabilities such as intelligent search, conversational applications, document understanding, and decision support.
• The role is responsible for the full lifecycle of artificial intelligence solutions, including model development, system integration, deployment into production environments, and ongoing monitoring and maintenance.
• This work is performed primarily within the Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem and integrated data and analytics platforms such as Databricks.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills with experience developing production code using Python.
• Proven ability to design and implement artificial intelligence systems using large language models and predictive modeling techniques.
• Experience building data pipelines to process and transform structured and unstructured data for analytical and modeling purposes.
• Demonstrated experience deploying and operating artificial intelligence solutions within cloud computing environments, Azure is preferred.
