About the Role We're seeking an experienced Data Protection & Privacy Analyst to join our Digital Technology team, which spans the globe and is made up of diverse individuals working together to build world-class airlines. As a Data Protection & Privacy Analyst, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining highly scaling technology solutions that meet the needs of our customers and employees. You'll work with modern architectures, data analytics, and virtual solutions to ensure that our data protection and privacy requirements are met. Key Responsibilities * Analyze and implement data protection and privacy requirements and policies locally, nationally, and globally * Develop and maintain highly scaling technology solutions that meet the needs of our customers and employees * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that data protection and privacy requirements are met * Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate risks * Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to data protection and privacy * Provide training and support to employees on data protection and privacy best practices * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in data protection and privacy Essential Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field * 3+ years of experience in a STEM-related field * Understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies locally, nationally, and globally * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a dynamic environment to strict deadlines * Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial feature of this role Preferred Qualifications * CISA certification * Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security * Knowledge of security engineering and architecture principles * Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles * Experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and products * Ability to interpret noncompliance and determine its effect on levels of risk and/or average effectiveness of the company's cybersecurity program What We Offer * Competitive salary of $26/hour * Comprehensive benefits package, including parental leave, 401k, and privileges like the ability to travel * Opportunity to work with a diverse and inclusive team * Professional development and growth opportunities * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance About arenaflex's Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion arenaflex is an equal opportunity employer.
