Role Description The Loan Officer Assistant will support Loan Officers in streamlining the mortgage application process and ensuring a seamless experience for clients.

Responsibilities include coordinating loan application submissions, gathering required documentation, and maintaining communication with clients and lenders to ensure accurate and timely progress. The role involves handling underwriting documentation, providing excellent customer service, and updating stakeholders on loan statuses. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Washington, MI.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Loan Officers and familiarity with the mortgage industry
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on supporting clients throughout the loan process
• Knowledge of underwriting principles and ability to manage related documentation effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to collaborate with team members and clients
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in mortgage software and MS Office applications is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or coursework in finance or related fields is an advantage
