Water Truck Driver

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Water Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating water trucks to support construction, landscaping, or industrial projects, ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of water to designated sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and heavy equipment operation, with the ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs as needed. Duties

• Safely operate water trucks to deliver water to construction sites, landscaping projects, or industrial locations.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance on water trucks, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
• Assist with loading and unloading water using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or other heavy machinery.
• Operate additional heavy equipment such as forklifts and other machinery necessary for site support.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations during transportation and operation of vehicles.
• Support freight movement and assist with related tasks involving heavy equipment operation or automotive repairs when required.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with large vehicles such as water trucks or similar heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with forklift operation, freight handling, and automotive repair is highly desirable.
• Prior experience operating heavy machinery or industrial equipment is preferred.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record is required.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and transportation.
• Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshooting is a plus. This role demands a safety-conscious individual with strong operational skills who can efficiently manage responsibilities associated with water delivery and heavy equipment support in a professional environment.

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour
