Hard skills to list on a Recruiter resume
These are the technical skills that should appear in your Skills section AND inside at least one bullet point each: Sourcing (Boolean, LinkedIn Recruiter), ATS administration (Greenhouse / Lever), Interview-loop design, Offer negotiation, DEI sourcing strategy, and Pipeline reporting. Listing them only in the Skills section is a weak signal; an ATS scoring algorithm gives more weight to a skill that also appears in your work-history bullets.

Recruiter JDs in 2026 typically expect literacy in: Greenhouse, Lever, LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Goodtime, and Slack. Note: brand names beat categories. "Snowflake" beats "data warehouse", "Figma" beats "design tool", "Datadog" beats "monitoring". Lift the specific brand from the JD.
Soft skills worth mentioning for a Recruiter
Most "soft skills" are filler ("team player", "communication"). The ones that actually carry weight for Recruiter candidates are: Hiring-manager partnership. Pair each one with a concrete behaviour or outcome — never list them on their own.
Action verbs that work on Recruiter bullets
Strong Recruiter bullets start with one of: Built, Owned, Shipped, Led, Scaled, Migrated, Cut, Lifted, Designed, Automated, Reduced, and Authored.
