Role Description
We are looking for a Graphic Designer who believes and showcases a disruptive approach towards their practice while being able to bring together empathy towards users and an understanding of business needs. They must possess a guerrilla-like attitude, be able to think laterally, and harbor skills to envision and articulate designs with agility.. We are looking for a personality that works with confidence, openness in ideas and flexibility across the board.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Have a robust understanding of Graphic design and experience in both print & digital media.
- Support initiatives and work with a cross-disciplinary team of designers, brand managers and brand strategists
- Work closely with with UST's client team including various stakeholders such as product owners, delivery managers, product designers, brand strategists, engineering team, content authoring team, etc.
- Understanding customer journeys and business need to be able to convert insights into marketing campaigns, working closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Create design for Web, Print and Electronic media within the client s brand guidelines and campaign tonality
- Create visuals and graphics that engage users with the brand and create recall value
- Follow brand guidelines while developing innovative designs that communicate the brand s values.
- Contribute to the team by bringing latest trends in design practice to produce exemplary output
- Coordinate design activities with all artistic and creative departments to ensure that deadlines are met, and project goals are achieved
- Lead by example, inspiring others with the quality of their work and their confidence and articulation of design decisions.
- Eloquent in presenting to various stakeholders while facilitating collaboration, dialogue and consensus around solutions
Preferred Qualifications And Experience
- Masters/Bachelors degree in design discipline or experience working as a Graphic designer
- 1-3 years of industry experience
- An online portfolio showcasing the latest projects (school/live). (Share password if protected or be willing to showcase the work during the interview)
- Must have a working knowledge of graphic design methods and techniques in print & digital media
- Solid communication skills
- Proficiency with tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, other trending design softwares
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience in marketing agency or in advertising agency is a plus
