Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Lawyer to join our family law legal team. Duties
- Conduct legal research using tools to gather relevant case law, statutes, and legal precedents
- Assist in drafting legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and memoranda
- Support negotiation processes by preparing necessary documentation and analyzing contractual terms
- Review and analyze case files, evidence, and legal documents for accuracy and relevance
- Prepare summaries of legal findings and assist in developing case strategies
- Attend client meetings and court proceedings as needed
- Maintain organized records of case files and legal documents to ensure compliance with firm standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
Experience
- Having passed the Barreau du Québec exam - stagiaire position or 6 months experience following stage
