Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Sikkim, India, for a Granulation/Compression/Capsule/Coating Technician. The Technician will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining granulation, compression, capsule filling, and coating equipment. They will ensure quality production of pharmaceutical products, perform troubleshooting, and adhere to all standard operating procedures, quality guidelines, and safety protocols.

The role also involves documentation of processes, equipment cleaning, and cross-functional collaboration for process optimization.

Qualifications

• Proficient in handling granulation, compression, capsule filling, and coating processes, with knowledge of the operation and maintenance of related machinery.
• Understanding of quality assurance guidelines, standard operating procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in pharmaceutical production.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation and process monitoring.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and knowledge of regulatory compliance are a plus.
• Diploma/ ITI in a relevant field such as Mechanical or Electrical or equivalent.
• Willingness to work in an on-site role in Sikkim, India, and adhere to workplace safety standards.
