Sales & Marketing Director - Real Estate Development

Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

A confidential international real estate investment and development group is advancing approvals for a landmark golf-centric luxury real estate development in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

We are seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Director to lead the go-to-market strategy for this mid to high luxury villa community. This role is focused on sales leadership, business development, marketing execution, and management of the overall sales process.

The successful candidate will work closely with the project’s partnered real estate brokerage and external marketing firm to coordinate and execute sales and marketing initiatives. While a Nova Scotia real estate license is considered an asset, this is not a traditional realtor role focused on personal listings or commission-based sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans
  • Lead and support realtor relationships, sales channels, and customer acquisition efforts
  • Build partnerships within luxury, golf, tourism, and business communities
  • Oversee digital campaigns, events, and brand positioning initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Canadian and Nova Scotia regulations
  • Support overall sales performance, reporting, and market growth
  • Collaborate with brokerage, marketing, legal, and development partners

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of senior sales and marketing leadership experience in luxury real estate, hospitality, lifestyle, or related sectors
  • Strong understanding of the Halifax market and luxury consumer landscape
  • Proven business development and relationship management skills
  • Experience managing high-end marketing campaigns and strategic partnerships
  • Real estate licensing in Nova Scotia is an asset or willingness to obtain licensing
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Experience with luxury lifestyle brands, resort communities, golf-related developments, or high-net-worth client networks is considered a strong asset.

Excellent salary and bonus potential as well as benefits, vehicle allowance, phone allowance, laptop etc. Post construction this person would work on site, but with flexibility.
