Job Description
Sitka Health Collective is seeking an energetic and motivating Cycle Instructor to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who can create an engaging, high-energy class experience while fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for riders of all fitness levels.
Responsibilities
- Lead safe, effective, and motivating indoor cycling classes
- Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class to prepare the studio, equipment, and music
- Create well-planned classes that incorporate a variety of cycling drills, intervals, and training styles
- Provide modifications and coaching to accommodate different fitness levels and abilities
- Ensure bikes are properly set up and assist participants with bike adjustments as needed
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and community-focused atmosphere
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional studio environment before and after classes
- Represent Sitka Health Collective with professionalism, enthusiasm, and warmth
Qualifications
- Group Fitness Instructor Certification, Indoor Cycling Certification, or equivalent training
- Previous cycle instruction experience preferred
- Strong communication and motivational coaching skills
- Ability to confidently lead groups and create an engaging class experience
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Availability to teach evenings and/or weekends
