Sales Representative, IVD Products

SignalChem Diagnostics is a subsidiary of SignalChem Lifesciences Corporation specializing in protein engineering for molecular, immunological, and clinical chemistry tests. 1. Overview

SignalChem is seeking a qualified inside sales representative to join its growing IVD sales and marketing team. The ideal candidate is motivated mid-level professional who wants to build a career in the IVD raw material and diagnostic kits manufacturing space. Our current diagnostic includes the development of kits for plant and animal pathogen detection. The candidate must demonstrate initiative, accountability, and a strong a ‘get-things-done’ attitude.

2. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with prospective and existing customers to promote IVD reagent/diagnostic kits products.
  • Qualify leads, manage a sales pipeline, and close orders to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Support the sales team by identifying opportunities, setting appointments, and preparing quotations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records of customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide product information, pricing, and technical support in collaboration with the technical team.
  • Work with marketing to execute campaigns, follow up on leads, and share feedback on market trends and customer needs.
  • Develop deep product knowledge to confidently address customer questions and objections.
  • Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and internal sales analysis.
  • Support internal projects as needed.

3. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Agricultural Science or a related field.
  • Eligible to work in Canada (must hold a work permit or be a permanent resident or citizen).
  • 1–3 years of inside sales experience in the IVD reagents, agricultural or life sciences industry preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a drive to achieve targets and solve problems.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Knowledge of IVD products and plant diagnostics market is an asset.

The salary range for this position is $50,000-60,000 plus performance bonuses. This position is on-site. The expected start date is June 1 or June 15.
