Pay Range: $55,371 - $69,175

Work Location: This role is eligible for hybrid – this means you’ll have the flexibility of working from home and in the office, on a scheduled rotation once probation requirements have been met. Until then, the successful incumbent will be expected to work on-site, full-time.

We’re looking for an Underwriting Assistant with a strong foundation in commercial lines insurance.

As an Underwriting Assistant, you’ll support the Commercial Property underwriting team by processing policies, assessing routine risk, and providing service to brokers. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate policy administration while contributing to strong broker relationships and service delivery.

• You have (or are working toward) your CIP designation — or are interested in pursuing it.

Typically, these skills are gained through a one-year certificate in a relevant field of study such as Business, specializing in Insurance & Risk Management, and 1 – 2 years of directly related experience in commercial lines.
