Role Description
This is a contract role for an Independent Contractor Bookkeeper based on-site in Arlington, VA. The Independent Contractor Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Proficiency in financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and budget preparation
- Familiarity with accounting software and general ledger management
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain compliance with financial regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in an on-site setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus
