Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a world leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major components of landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.
You will perform, using air-powered hand tools or semi-automatic equipment, the grinding of attachment points of main landing gear components according to specifications. This operation requires a high level of precision to create the exact dimensions of the rings that will later accommodate other mechanical parts.
You will also be called upon to:
- inspect parts using measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications
- machine using a lathe and install the rings
- apply sealant
- complete the appropriate Quality Assurance documentation
- contribute to the continuous improvement of operations and the achievement of objectives in terms of safety, quality, costs, and on-time deliveries

- DEP in aeronautical structure assembly or a DES (equivalence certificate not accepted) with relevant experience
- Experience in manual work with pneumatic tools in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in manual grinding or assembly in aeronautics is an asset
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and use measuring instruments (calipers and micrometers)
- Good manual dexterity

Weekend Day Shift: Friday 2:10 PM - 8:10 PM, Saturday 6:20 AM - 6:20 PM, Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Note: Depending on the collective agreement rules, the position may change shifts (day, night, or evening)
- The salary for this position starts between $26.91 and $36.59 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and qualifications. With internal training and your progression in acquiring job-related skills, the hourly wage will increase up to a maximum of $40.62.
