Plant Operator

Grande Prairie, AB

Our client, a well established oil and gas producer, is seeking a Plant Operator to support operations at a facility located north of Grande Prairie. This position operates on an 8/6 rotation and requires candidates to be local to the Grande Prairie area, as camp accommodations and housing are not available.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate (or higher)
• Previous oil and gas plant experience
• Valid H2S Alive and Standard First Aid certifications
• Comfortable working in H2S environments and wearing respiratory protection when required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to follow direction
