Position Overview The entry level Accountant is an entry‑level, full‑time position responsible for supporting the accounting department with daily financial operations. Accounts Receivable — Prepare customer invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances. Job Costing — Assist with tracking project expenses, labor hours, subcontractor costs, and materials. General Ledger — Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support month‑end close. Payroll Support — Assist with weekly payroll review, timecard verification, and union/non‑union labor reporting. Financial Reporting — Prepare basic financial summaries, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation. Compliance — Maintain accurate records for audits, insurance, bonding, and regulatory requirements. Administrative Support — Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
