Accounts Payable Accountant

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant to join a growing construction company. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process while supporting accounts receivable functions as needed. The ideal candidate has experience in high-volume transaction environments and is comfortable working with subcontractors, vendors, and project teams. Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficientlyPerform 3-way matching (purchase orders, invoices, and receipts)Ensure timely vendor payments in accordance with contract termsMaintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiriesReconcile AP subledger to general ledgerAssist with month-end close, including accruals and reportingSupport accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collectionsTrack and record subcontractor payments, lien waivers, and compliance documentationAssist with job cost allocation and project-based accountingIdentify and resolve discrepancies in invoices, payments, and vendor accounts
