We are seeking a TIG Welder I to perform critical Manual Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) on advanced duct assemblies. This is an opportunity to work with high-performance alloys and contribute to flight-safety components where quality and precision are paramount.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of complex duct assemblies. Your daily impact includes:

• Precision Fabrication: Scribe, cut, and grind details to tight tolerances according to technical blueprints.
• Advanced Welding: Perform GTAW (TIG) on Inconel, Stainless Steel, and potentially Titanium alloys (thickness ranging from 0.020" to 0.125") per AWS D17.1 standards.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure part integrity through meticulous visual inspection and physical measurement using hand tools and gauges.
• Safety Leadership: Maintain a clean, safe environment by following all shop and environmental safety procedures and utilizing PPE at all times.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 35lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
