Account Executive - Retail Displays & Packaging

Point 1 Displays is a Canadian retail POP display and packaging company based in Lachine, Quebec. For over 32 years, we partner with leading brands across North America to design, engineer, manufacture, assemble, pack out, and coordinate retail merchandising programs that require strong execution, quality, speed, and service.

Our capabilities include corrugated displays, semi-permanent and permanent displays, digital print, fabrication, assembly, co-packing, and logistics coordination. We are a long-standing A-Z domestic production partner for clients who need reliable execution from concept through delivery with the ability to help them stand out at the point of purchase in retail.

About the Role

We are looking for an Ontario-based Account Executive who can develop client relationships, identify new opportunities, and support retail display projects from initial discussion through execution across Canada and the U.S. market.

This is a remote role, but the successful candidate must be based in Ontario and comfortable visiting clients periodically in person. The role is not limited to Ontario sales; Ontario presence is important because we want stronger coverage in the market, but the person will also be responsible for developing opportunities with brands, agencies, and retail-facing customers across broader North American markets.

This role is ideal for someone who understands consultative B2B sales, can build long-term client relationships, and is comfortable selling custom, project-based solutions rather than simple catalogue products.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities with brands, agencies, retailers, and companies requiring retail display, merchandising, packaging, or in-store execution solutions.
• Manage and grow client relationships from early opportunity through quoting, design development, production coordination, and delivery.
• Work closely with internal teams including design, estimating, customer service, production, and operations to move opportunities forward.
• Understand client requirements, timelines, budgets, retail needs, and execution challenges.
• Support Ontario market coverage through periodic in-person meetings, client visits, and relationship-building.
• Develop opportunities in both Canadian and U.S. markets.
• Track sales activity, opportunity status, follow-ups, and pipeline progress.
• Represent Point 1 professionally with a service-first, solution-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales, account management, business development, or client-facing commercial roles.
• Strong ability to build trust with clients and manage multiple opportunities at different stages.
• Comfortable working remotely while staying organized, responsive, and accountable.
• Based in Ontario, with the ability to periodically visit clients in person.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams.
• Comfortable selling into both existing and new accounts.
• Able to manage a sales pipeline and follow through consistently.
• Experience with custom, project-based retail displays, POP/POS displays, packaging, print, merchandising, fixtures, or CPG/retail brand environments is a strong asset.

They understand that selling retail displays and packaging requires follow-up, clear communication, practical problem-solving, and coordination with internal teams. They should be comfortable developing new opportunities, but also disciplined enough to manage existing client needs and project follow-through.
