Our client, a prestigious accounting firm, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Forensic Accountant to bolster their litigation support and fraud investigation services in Dehradun, Uttarakhand . This crucial role requires a meticulous professional with extensive expertise in financial investigation, data analysis, and dispute resolution. The Senior Forensic Accountant will be instrumental in uncovering financial irregularities, providing expert testimony, and assisting clients in complex legal and financial matters. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth financial investigations into suspected fraud, asset misappropriation, and other financial misconduct. Analyze complex financial data, accounting records, and transactional information to identify patterns, anomalies, and evidence of wrongdoing. Develop and implement forensic accounting methodologies and investigative plans. Assist in the quantification of financial losses and damages in litigation and dispute cases. Prepare detailed forensic accounting reports, including findings, conclusions, and supporting evidence. Provide expert witness testimony in legal proceedings, clearly and effectively communicating complex financial information. Collaborate with legal counsel, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders throughout investigations. Perform business valuations and economic damage calculations in support of litigation. Conduct due diligence reviews and fraud risk assessments for clients. Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards throughout all investigative activities. Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, accounting standards, and forensic techniques. Mentor junior members of the forensic accounting team and contribute to their professional development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), or equivalent are highly preferred. 7+ years of progressive experience in forensic accounting, fraud examination, or litigation support. Proven experience in conducting complex financial investigations and analyzing large datasets. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and legal frameworks related to financial crime. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate findings clearly and concisely. Experience in providing expert testimony in court is a significant advantage. Proficiency in data analysis and forensic accounting software tools. High level of integrity, objectivity, and professional skepticism. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively. Experience in areas such as bankruptcy, insurance claims, or intellectual property disputes is beneficial.
