Position:We are seeking a Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer to support GGPoker's organic social media channels and YouTube.
Work from the office required.
This role is fully focused on organic content and creating engaging, platform-native videos, with a strong emphasis on short-form content (Reels, Shorts) and motion graphics. You will be responsible for producing both short-form and long-form video content, turning poker moments, live event footage, ambassador content, and editorial formats into attention-grabbing, social-first videos. Motion graphics are central to how this content comes to life, from animated overlays and lower thirds to full graphic-driven sequences and branded templates. This is a motion-first, video-first role where storytelling through animation, design, pacing, and visual impact matters more than traditional editing alone. You should be as comfortable building motion graphic systems in After Effects as you are cutting a Reel in Premiere Pro. You will work across GGPoker’s ecosystem, adapting content for each platform including Instagram, YouTube (Shorts and long-form), Facebook, X, and Reddit. You should also have experience editing organic social content in a brand or agency environment and understand how to tailor content by platform.Basic poker knowledge is required to confidently pace and edit gameplay, hands, and in-client moments for social content. Knowledge of AI tools is also required for select projects involving video creation and image generation, though day-to-day work will be done using your preferred professional tools.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of poker required (to confidently analyze and edit content for the target audience)
- Strong proficiency in After Effects is essential, including expressions, animation principles, and building reusable motion graphic templates
- Experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- 3+ years of experience editing social content in a brand or agency environment while maintaining brand standards
- Proven experience creating and editing organic, platform-specific content across Instagram, YouTube, and other channels
- Strong understanding of short-form video, including pacing, hooks, and retention
- Ability to turn basic gameplay into cinematic, motion-driven short-form poker content
- Familiarity with AI tools for video creation and image generation (e.g. Google Labs, ChatGPT, or similar)
- Grew a social media following (e.g., demonstrated measurable growth)
Who you are
- A motion designer and video editor in equal measure, not just an editor who dabbles in After Effects
- Creative and proactive, with the ability to produce content that feels fresh and not generic

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
- Comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a fast-moving environment
- Continues to learn and adapt to changing tech in the world

- Design and produce motion graphics, animated sequences, and branded templates for use across social content

- Turn poker client footage, livestream segments, and live event assets into polished social edits.
- Design and produce all organic social graphics and thumbnails.
- Lead select AI-based video and image generation projects when required.
- Work from briefs, timestamps, and formats with minimal back-and-forth.
- Deliver content on schedule while maintaining GGPoker brand standards.
