Job Description
Northern Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the team at the Mackenzie & District Hospital and Primary Care Clinic. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to provide longitudinal primary care to patients of all ages in a supportive, team‑based environment. The NP will work alongside family physicians and an integrated interprofessional team to deliver high‑quality, culturally safe care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide longitudinal primary care to a diverse patient population across the lifespan.
Attach patients per the Provincial Attachment System (PAS) guidelines.
Use Electronic Medical Record (EMR)s for documentation and clinical workflows.
Collaborate with family physicians and an interprofessional team to support patient care.
Participate in team‑based care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
Eligible for registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a Nurse Practitioner.
Strong background in primary care.
Excellent clinical assessment and decision‑making skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Commitment to culturally safe and trauma‑informed care.

Salary Range New Graduate NP – $149,382 1 Year Experience – $156,851 2 Years Experience – $164,320
